We work together

We’re experts by experience. By working together and with care providers we can improve mental health care – for now and for the future.

We facilitate

We organise meetings and conduct surveys to find out what’s working and what’s not.

We co-produce training and awareness sessions to help members improve their skills.

We provide a platform for all members to get their voice heard.

We create change

We advise healthcare providers on how they can improve their services.

We participate in local service provider meetings to ensure our opinions are being represented.

We campaign on issues our members are concerned about.

But we need you!

HeadsUp is nothing without its members. Every new member gives us more power to make positive change.

Your experience, whether good or bad, matters. Your opinion deserves to be heard.

There are a range of ways you can get involved. Right from sitting in on board meetings within the West London Mental Health Trust to simply filling out an online questionnaire. So you can choose your level of involvement.

We work as equals, and where possible you’ll get paid for your time.
